This tatami mat combines a rice straw tatami floor that meets our store’s standard of Grade 3 with a Kumamoto brand Hinoharuka high-quality tatami mat.
A standard rice straw tatami mat made with selected ordinary rice straw and a single piece of komo (rice straw mat) woven with only the core of rice straw inside.
This premium Hinoharuka tatami mat is produced by Kumamoto Prefecture certified eco-farmers.

Rice straw tatami mats, high-quality
This tatami mat combines our store’s standard first-class rice straw tatami floor with Kumamoto brand Hino Sakura high-quality tatami matting.
This flat and durable tatami mat is made from three layers of komo (rice straw mats) made from high-quality selected ordinary rice straw woven into the core of the straw.
Hino Sakura tatami mats are a high-end brand produced in Kumamoto Prefecture.

Rice straw tatami mats, top quality
This tatami mat combines the highest quality special grade rice straw tatami flooring that we can produce with the highest quality Kumamoto brand Hino Sarasa tatami matting.
This flat and durable tatami mat is made from 100% carefully selected rice straw grown without pesticides, with six layers of straw mats woven from the core of rice straw inside.
This is Kumamoto’s top brand of tatami mats, Hinosarasa, from Hideaki Hashiguchi, certified as an Eco-Farmer by Kumamoto Prefecture.
*Hashiguchi’s Hinosarasa tatami mats are not readily available, so delivery may take longer. We will contact you in advance, so thank you for your understanding.
